Budget The Gallupville Volunteer Fire Department provides Fire Protection and BLS Emergency Medical First Response to the residents in the Town of Wright.
We are located in the central eastern corner of Schoharie County. We border Albany and Schenectady counties. Our membership is comprised of 20 volunteer men and woman that are dedicated to Fire and EMS and have a passion for helping the town residents. Our station is located at 109 School Street in the hamlet of Gallupville. We moved into our new station in January of 2006.

LEGAL NOTICE - SPECIAL ELECTION OF WRIGHT FIRE DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Election of Wright Fire District (Fire District) will take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Gallupville Fire Department, 109 School Street, Schoharie, New York 12157. Qualified voters of the Fire District may vote concerning Proposition 1, a Resolution approved by the Board of Fire Commissioners subject to mandatory referendum authorizing the issuance of Fire District bonds in an amount not to exceed $125,000.00 for the purpose of financing the purchase of a Utility Vehicle and related equipment for the extinguishment and prevention of fires and for other emergency purposes.
